Fraternity History
St. Thomas More, OFS
Inver Grove Heights, MN
Beginning. First reception Ceremony. First Profession Ceremony. Franciscan Family Apostolate started (for needy SFO families). Started Coffee & Donut Sundays at local parish (Church of St. Patrick) Began Christmas Family Project (working with Neighbors, Inc.); worked with Catholic Charities helping refugee families. Began Eucharistic Ministry to the sick and homebound. Established Franciscan Memorial Garden at the Church of St. Patrick. Began the Morning Prayer Group: Liturgy of the Hours & Rosary.
Began annual November meeting at the Franciscan Brothers of Peace to help pack Thanksgiving Meals for distribution. Began the Communion and Scripture Services at the Church of St. Patrick.
Meetings. Fraternity meetings are held on the Third Tuesday of the month at church of St. Patrick, 3535 72nd ST. E., Inver Grove Heights, MN (www.Churchofstpatrick.com)
Council meeting is on the First Tuesday of the month at church of St. Patrick, IGH (see above)
